Snowmobile King Crab Safari Winter 2026 / 2027

Experience the Arctic in a unique way on our King Crab Safari by snowmobile sledge. Sit comfortably in a sledge covered with reindeer skins while our guide pulls you across the winter landscape by snowmobile.

We travel out onto a frozen fjord where we have our King Crab traps. Together we pull up the traps and you will have the chance to see, hold, and photograph the impressive King Crabs. Learn about the history of King Crab and how to catch. We also tell you about the culture and history in this area.

After returning to camp you can enjoy a delicious meal featuring King Crab.

Start: 09:00, 13:00 and 18:00 / Duration: ca. 3 hours

Join us taking the king crabs from the pots. While the crabs are being cooked  we drive by snowmobile on the Langfjord towards the Siberian taiga forest in Pasvik. Cultural and historical guided tour. After the trip we visit our Sami tent and serve fresh king crabs and a glass of white wine.

All tours include local guide, transportation, fuel, insurance, warm winteroutfit, crash helmets, boots, gloves, hot coffee and a reindeer snack. Additionalmeals, not mentioned in this programme, can be ordered upon request. 1 to 2 persons per snowmobile. Driving licence for a car or motorcycle is required.
